Nearest village with basic choice of holiday facilities is 1 km away from the villa, where you can do some shopping and dine at the local taverns and cafés. The villa is 8 km away from a port, from where ferries depart on a daily basis to Athens. It takes about 40-75 minutes to reach the island. Upon arrival, take a short drive and get to the villa within 15 minutes.
The villa itself is built in few levels, featuring traditional Greek architecture, but being decorated with an artistic feeling to ensure real pleasure when staying. The maximum capacity is 8 guests and it can host about 30 guests when events organized.
The main central level of the villa offers a very spacious living area with cozy sofas and armchairs linked to an elegant dining area and a very spacious and well-equipped kitchen, which has all you need for self-cooking. Large glass doors provide panoramic sea views and lead onto a superb outdoor terrace with the swimming pool. Poll features new cleaning technology, chlorine-free, so that you get feeling swimming in the sea water, perfect for kids. There is is an equipped shaded barbeque area with dining set next to the pool, with stone steps leading down to the garden with olive, pomegranate and citrus trees.
Few steps lead from the lounge to the 2 bedrooms, which are: 1 master-bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a private balcony facing the sea and 1 guest room with double bed, private bathroom and views overlooking the hills.
Again from the living area, a staircase leads down to the library and one more lounge area with comfortable sofas, blue ray TV, DVD player and a vast movie collection. This lounge features amazing floor-to-ceiling windows, so it is very bright and airy. From here, a few steps lead to the garden and a hallway brings to a 1 double bedroom and a shower room.
Level down, there is 1 spacious bedroom with one double and one single bed, individual bathroom equipped with shower. This bedroom has its own private patio amidst the garden with serene views. The entire pool terrace outdoors has great views over the neighboring island and is a perfect place to enjoy alfresco dining in elegant surroundings. In general, villa allows you to totally relax and spend precious moments looking at the stunning scenery.
Apart from staying at the villa, you are welcome to visit a picturesque fishing village with its seafood restaurants and small marina is about a 5-minute drive away, don’t miss the opportunity to do horse riding (just 500 m away from the villa) and of course go explore some of the island’s best beaches, which boast crystal clear waters and pine-fringed sandy beaches. All are within 5-10 minutes’ drive, some of them are well-organized, with loungers and umbrellas, perfect for families with small children.
Wider choice of shopping and dining options you can find in the Aegina town, just 20 minutes away. Also, there is a chance to make a short daytrip to the Moni island, inhabited only by rare species of deer, goats and peacocks, to relax there on the beach.
